i have now figured out several things, which is quite nice.
this whole thing does feel rather limited tho
i am far from experienced enough to make this all bend to my will,
but that will not prevent me from trying

things quickly devolve into scotch tape and glue, but that was always inevitable.
i've never enjoyed not understanding things to their smallest detail,
so several parts of this have become rather painful fo me.
but my march of progress goes forwards
